How it works

Timeline


Once you have made an enquiry, we can discuss and confirm the type of shoot package you would like and get booked in the diary.


I will discuss any preferences that you may have such as location and if you can ask any questions.

Contract and Payment


All Photo-shoots with Kim's Captures will require a signed contract of the terms and conditions. This can be sent by email to be completed and signed electronically. A non refundable deposit will also be taken to secure your booking and the remaining outstanding amount of the session is to be paid on the day of the shoot.

Planning and Session


In advance to your session, I shall arrange a pre-shoot consultation to discuss any personal preferences you may want me to capture or and to confirm location. I will also offer advice with things like choice of clothing to wear as well if this is something you'd like guidance with.

Galleries and Prints


All images will be fully edited and displayed on an online viewing gallery. You can then make your choice of the included digital images set within your package.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Each package states the included amount of digital images. This ranges from 5 to 10 images depending on what package you have chosen but if you would like more additional images, these can be ordered at extra cost.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Babies grow super fast! Ideally those tiny newborn features are best captured within their first week or two. I'm happy to also do fresh 48 sessions if requested and these can be done within the hospital if needed for those who require a stay.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Things happen and sometimes we have to cancel. If you need to cancel your session then we can reschedule at another suitable time. If for some reason it is not possible at all for you to rearrange the session then the deposit paid is non-refundable to account for any loss of earnings
incurred.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

This is very common and nothing to worry about. My sessions are very much about candid moments, I'm just there to capture it and want my clients to feel at ease. If more of a posed session is what you desire then I will offer gentle guidance on composition.
